Clarisonic tackles men’s skin care needs
Men’s skincare concerns are something Clarisonic wants to help address.
To do so, the brand is unveiling its new Mia Men, which is a face cleansing device that’s engineered specifically for men’s thicker skin, and helps address their skincare concerns, the Redmond, Wash.-based company said.
Powered by its patented sonic technology, Mia Men has a 60-second Men’s Mode, with two intensities for a better clean and prep for a smoother shave.
The first intensity on the tool is a 40-second Daily Cleanse, which offers skin and beards a deep cleanse to get rid of oil, sweat and grime.
The second mode is a 20-second Power Cleanse, which helps clear buildup on the skin, softens the beard and looks to reduce nicks and razor bumps, while also prepping facial hair for a smoother and closer shave, the company said.
“Millions of our consumers (vast majority are female) have written us to share that their spouses steal their devices,” Jia Zhu, the Clarisonic brand director said. This gave way to the development of our Mia Men’s device, with a specific mode for Men’s thicker skin to ensure they too, are getting the best out of our technology and can now have their very own under $100.”
In addition, Mia Men is paired with Clarisonic’s Charcoal Brush Head to massage the skin, draw out impurities from pores, and wash away excess sebum and pollution particles, the company said.
Shoppers can find the Clarisonic Mia Men on the company’s website, Amazon, Sephora.com and Ulta.com for $99.
