Intimina by Lelo caters to feminine wellness

BY Michael Johnsen

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Lelo on Thursday launched Intimina by Lelo, a new brand of intimate wellness products positioned as a premium to what’s on the shelf today.

The new line of products — a line of personal massagers, pelvic floor exercisers, hygienic cleansers and feminine moisturizers — will be available to ship this summer.

“Today’s woman has countless friends on Facebook, far too many contacts in her cell phone and more emails than she has time to open, so when it comes to giving herself the attention she needs to live a longer, healthier and more satisfied life, the investment is well-deserved,” Lelo’s U.S. sales manager Donna Faro said. “To redefine feminine wellness, you have to look far beyond the gym membership.”

Senokot products tout new packaging

BY Michael Johnsen

NEW YORK — Purdue Products on Thursday announced new packaging and product design across its Senokot Laxatives Comfort Promise line.

The packaging makeover includes Senokot-S Tablets, a laxative plus stool softener for those who experience occasional constipation which may be caused by certain medications, and Senokot To Go, a convenient, easy-to-carry four-pack choice for busy consumers with on-the-go schedules.

"Customers have many choices at the retail store shelf, and we’re sensitive to their anxiety about choosing the laxative that’s right for them," stated Charlene Bailey, director, product management, at Purdue. "Supported by market research, we’ve created a new package design for Senokot Tablets that addresses the needs of the customer."

The new Senokot Laxatives packages will be available to ship nationwide in October and will be supported by national advertising, retail account programs, on-pack purchase incentives and a targeted digital campaign, the company stated.

"The new packaging will be a boon for retailers as well," Bailey said. "While the smaller, redesigned packages will allow for more plan-o-gram options, the contemporary design also distinguishes the brand to appropriately draw new customers into the category."
