Whey-infused Greek yogurt makes debut
EVANSTON, Ill. — Tula Foods has introduced Better Whey of Life, a new line of Greek yogurt made with whey protein from grass-fed cows.
Better Whey of Life uses a unique process that retains the whey protein, enabling a distinct thick, smooth and silky yogurt with exceptional health benefits, Tula Foods said. The line currently contains six varieties, including blackberry pomegranate, strawberry goji berry, raspberry white grape, acai mixed berry, vanilla bean and plain.
Better Whey of Life carries a suggested retail price range of $1.39 to $1.69 per 6-oz. cup.
Nature Valley introduces protein bars
MINNEAPOLIS — A new Nature Valley product has made its way to the granola aisle.
The brand announced that it has launched new protein bars, which tout 10 g of protein and contain such all-natural ingredients as roasted peanuts with almonds or creamy peanut butter and dark chocolate flavor in every bite.
Nature Valley protein bars are packaged in five-bar boxes and are available in two flavors — peanut butter dark chocolate, and peanut, almond and dark chocolate — at a suggested retail price of $3.89.
The Juice by Energy-X makes debut
LOS ANGELES — Pacific Shore Holdings has introduced its latest energy product.
The Juice by Energy-X builds on the company’s Energy-X brand with a one-of-a-kind energy mix can be added to almost any beverage. The product touts zero calories, no carbohydrates, is sugar-free, and is fortified with 70 mg of caffeine and nearly a full daily dose of vitamins B12, B6 and B3 (niacin) per serving, Pacific Shore Holdings said.
