Walgreens Boots Alliance unveils new logo, purpose
DEERFIELD, Ill. — Walgreens Boots Alliance marked its first week as a new public company with the official launch of its new corporate identity — including its new logo and its purpose, vision and values — as set out on its website, walgreensbootsalliance.com.
Walgreens Boots Alliance’s purpose is to help people across the world lead healthier and happier lives. Its mission is to be the first choice for pharmacy, wellbeing and beauty, caring for people and communities around the world. This will be reflected in its core values of trust, care, innovation, partnership and dedication.

Camber launches generic Zomig tabs

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Camber Pharmaceuticals on Friday announced the launch of zolmitriptan tablets in 2.5- and 5-mg dosage strengths. The drug is the generic version of Zomig tablets from IPR Pharmaceuticals.
Zolmitriptan tablets are used to treat migraine headaches; the drug is available in a six-count blister pack for the 2.5-mg dosage strength, and a three-count blister pack for 5-mg strength.
Teva intros generic Zyvox injection

NORTH WALES, Pa. — Teva Pharmaceuticals on Friday announced the launch of linezolid injection, the generic equvialent to Zyvox injection from C.P. Pharmaceuticals. According to prescribing information, the drug is used to treat bacterial infections.
“Our customers count on Teva for a continuous supply of new generic products,” states Maureen Cavanaugh, SVP, U.S. generics sales and marketing. “With the launch of Linezolid Injection, we add another quality product to our broad line of affordable generic pharmaceuticals.”
