Vitasoy marks return of Holly Nog, introduces mint chocolate beverage
AYER, Mass. — Two almond beverages from Vitasoy will hit retail this holiday season.
Vitasoy has announced the return of Holly Nog for a limited time and also has introduced a mint chocolate drink that will be available year-round.

"Their flavors are irresistible, plus they’re packed with the complete proteins we need to feel satisfied and full of energy."
Vitasoy Holly Nog and mint chocolate drinks are available at leading supermarkets and natural foods stores throughout Canada for a suggested retail price of $2.99 per 946-ml. container.
Jones Soda to expand product distribution in 2012
SEATTLE — Jones Soda announced it has received 2012 retail authorizations from several U.S. and Canada chains.
Jones Soda said its products will be sold at such U.S. retailers as Safeway, Winn-Dixie and Publix, Kum & Go convenience stores and all U.S. military commissaries, in addition to Food Land in Canada, which further expands Jones’ product distribution within the Sobeys chain of stores.
Earlier in the year, Jones Soda also secured authorizations for Ralphs, Albertsons, Giant Eagle, Cub Foods and ShopRite stores, the company said.
Coca-Cola bears new can
ATLANTA — Coca-Cola is turning its cola cans white this holiday season to benefit the World Wildlife Fund. The company is committing up to $3 million to WWF’s polar bear conservation efforts and is asking fans in the United States to join the “Arctic Home” campaign by texting donations to help protect polar bear habitats. The polar bear has been used as a Coca-Cola icon since 1922.
For the first time in the history of the brand, the red background on cans was replaced in November with an all-white panorama featuring a mother bear and her cubs. The packaging will appear until February 2012.
