ThinkThin protein bars arrive at select Target locations
LOS ANGELES — The No. 1 ranked weight-management bar in the natural channel, thinkThin, is now available in select Target locations throughout the United States, the company announced Thursday. thinkThin’s high-protein, gluten-free nutrition bars are available in 5-count boxes of Chunky Peanut Butter, Brownie Crunch and Caramel Fudge flavors.
To support the launch, thinkThin has released an online guide to a Perfect 10 Holiday, available on thinkThin10.com, as well as the companies’ social media pages and Tumblr. The guide offers tips on hosting fabulous parties, from hors d’oeuvres to elegant up-dos. For every share of thinkThin’s Perfect 10 Holiday tips via Facebook, the company will make a donation to the Dream Foundation.

Kerr collects food, toys for needy families
RALEIGH, N.C. — Kerr Drug is launching a holiday toy and food drive for families in need, the regional chain said.
Kerr said it was responding to the difficult economy by collecting toys and food items at all its stores around North Carolina.
Collection bins were set up at the front of stores starting on Nov. 20 and will be there until Dec. 21. The Kerr Cares for Kids Foundation will give donated items to charity groups in the state that will then distribute them to needy families.
Supervalu’s Jewel-Osco creates demand around the ‘last shipment’ of Twinkies
ITASCA, Ill. — Fans of "Zombieland" take heart — should the world come to an end, the last Twinkie will be available at a Chicago-area Jewel Osco.
Jewel-Osco, a Supervalu company, on Monday announced that beginning Tuesday morning the retailer will begin selling what are believed to be the last shipments of Hostess products. More than 20,000 boxes of Twinkies will be sold at regular price through select Chicago-area Jewel-Osco stores, the company stated. "Customers looking for Ding Dongs, Zingers and Orange Cupcakes will also be in luck."
As of Tuesday morning, 10-count box Twinkies were being auctioned for as much as $10.
There will be no limit on how many items a customer can buy, Supervalu stated.
