Tec Labs brings differentiated anti-itch wipes to market
ALBANY, Ore. – Tech Labs on Wednesday announced the launch of Tecnu Bites & Stings Medicated Itch and Pain Relief Wipes featuring a new technology for treating insect bites and bee stings. Each wipe has one side that is textured while the other is smooth.
Tecnu Textures is the trademarked name of the new technological advancement.
The homeopathic towelettes are infused with Grindelia robusta 3X for anti-itch and skin protection, Plantago major 4X for anti-itch, pain relief and wound healing and Calendula officinalis 3X for wound healing and scar prevention.
Each package of Tecnu Bites & Stings contains 20 single-use packets. For times when a person has multiple bug bites at once, the four-inch wipes contain enough medication to cover a generous area of skin.
This new item is initially available at Walmart, Rite Aid and Giant Eagle.
Perrigo, Allergan launch store brand equivalent of Mucinex 1200mg ER tablets
DUBLIN – Perrigo and its partner Allergan on Wednesday announced the launch of guaifenesin 1200mg extended-release tablets, the OTC store-brand equivalent to Mucinex 1200mg extended-release tablets to retail and wholesale customers. First shipments of this new store branded product have been initiated and represents a first-to-market accomplishment for Perrigo and Allergan.

Mucinex 1200mg extended-release tablets (guaifenesin 1200mg extended-release tablets), indicated to relieve chest congestion and to break up mucus, making coughs more productive, produced sales of approximately $71 million through food, drug and mass merchants during that last twelve months, the companies reported.
J&J plugs into new/expecting mom consumer base with latest 7 Minute Wellness app

The new app was created by the same experts who developed the fast, simple and scientifically proven Johnson & Johnson Official 7 Minute Workout app. The 7 Minute Wellness for Expecting and New Moms app draws on more than 30 years of experience and research from the pioneers of human energy management and expansion at the Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute.
The app was developed using the fundamentals of Energy for Performance training plus insights from a Johnson & Johnson study conducted with approximately 1,400 pre- and post-natal women.
The app offers personalized sessions to help new and expecting moms expand and manage their energy. These include 7 Minute Workout sessions that are customized to the mom's week of pregnancy or postnatal phase, individual fitness and energy levels or any physical discomfort she may be experiencing.
The workout sessions were designed by Chris Jordan, director exercise physiology at the Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute.
Mind and Body sessions in the app offer techniques to help create balance, relax the mind, relieve stress and discomfort and care for a woman's body during this important time. They are guided by Jennifer Lea, Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute director client training.
No special equipment is needed; sessions are designed to be simple and help women achieve and maintain fitness and balance – in body and mind.
