Target starts Black Friday earlier, extends holiday hours
MINNEAPOLIS — Target is getting an early jump on Black Friday this year, announcing that it will open its stores at midnight on Nov. 25.
“The holidays bring hectic schedules and tight budgets, so extending store hours and offering lots of additional ways to save makes Target a great choice for affordable, one-stop holiday shopping,” Target EVP stores Tina Schiel said.
In addition to opening at midnight on Black Friday, Target said it also is extending store hours throughout the season. On Black Friday and the day after Christmas (Dec. 26), stores will be open until 11 p.m. On Christmas Eve (Dec. 24), stores will remain open until 7 or 8 p.m., depending on the location.
Bubba Brands introduces Hero stainless steel bottle
SMYRNA, Ga. — Bubba Brands has introduced a stainless steel bottle designed to ensure temperature moderation for any beverage it holds.
The new Hero bottle is BPA-free and features dual wall vacuum insulation, Bubba Brands said, allowing hot contents to stay warm for up to 6 hours, while cold contents can stay cool for up to 12 hours. The bottle is available in classic black, classic plum and classic navy colors.
Hero bottles are available at retailers nationwide, including Kmart, Target and Walmart stores.
Endo to move HQ in 2012
CHADDS FORD, Pa. — Endo Pharmaceuticals announced it will move its corporate headquarters to a new facility by next December.
The new corporate center will be located in Malvern, Pa., about 18 miles from its current location of Chadds Ford, Pa. Endo said the move reflects the company’s continued growth.
"This move is an important investment in Endo’s future," Endo CEO Dave Holveck said. "I believe this move will undoubtedly send a positive message of growth, stability and promise to our pharmaceutical and business counterparts."
