Stonyfield adds Greek yogurt to kids’ line

LONDONDERRY, N.H. — Stonyfield is extending the Greek yogurt trend to its kids’ line.

Stonyfield said its YoKids brand now includes YoKids Greek, organic Greek yogurt that touts 6 g of proten, and is available in raspberry and strawberry varieties.

"Stonyfield has been creating delicious, organic yogurts for kids for nearly 20 years — in fact a whole generation has grown up on YoKids yogurt. And with the explosion in popularity of Greek yogurt over the past few years, including our own Stonyfield Organic Oikos brand, we knew it was time that kids had their own special protein-packed snack that is both tasty and nutritious," Stonyfield co-founder and chairman Gary Hirshberg said.

YoKids Greek organic yogurts are available nationwide in four-packs with a suggested retail price of $2.89.

Smirnoff introduces Signature Screwdriver, Smirnoff Ice Tropical Fruit

Vodka and malt beverage brand Smirnoff today announced the expansion of their Premium Flavored Malt Beverage line with two new products: Smirnoff Signature Screwdriver and Smirnoff Ice Tropical Fruit.

The Smirnoff Signature Screwdriver beverage (5.8% alcohol by volume) recreates the flavor of the popular vodka and orange juice cocktail, joining the other three flavors in the line: Blueberry & Lemonade, Cranberry & Lime and Classic Lemonade. 

The Smirnoff Ice Tropical Fruit beverage (4.5% alcohol by volume) combines a refreshing fruit punch and tropical flavors for a sweet, fruity taste, and joins 11 other beverages in the Smirnoff Ice Premium Malt Beverage line: Green Apple Bite, Strawberry Acai, Wild Grape, Pomegranate Fusion, Raspberry Burst, Watermelon, Passion Fruit, Mango, Pineapple and Cherry Lime.

“Both Smirnoff Signature Screwdriver and Smirnoff Ice Tropical Fruit are refreshing-tasting beverage options for our adult consumer who are looking for enticing new flavors from premium brands they trust at a good value,” said Heather Boyd, brand director of progressive adult beverages for Diageo-Guinness USA. “While they’re sure to be a hit for summer parties and picnics, there’s no reason to wait, which is why both are now on shelves nationwide.”

Both of the new drinks are available in six-packs of 11.2-oz. bottles for a suggested retail price of $7.99. Smirnoff reminds consumers of legal drinking age to drink responsibly.
