Stater Bros. promotes David Harris to finance chief
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Stater Bros. has promoted one of its executives to a new role.
Stater Bros. board chairman and CEO Jack Brown confirmed that David Harris was promoted to the position of SVP finance, CFO and principal accounting officer at the company. Harris joined the company in 2009 as VP finance and was promoted to SVP finance last year.
"I am confident that Dave will do an excellent job in his new position, where he is responsible for all the financial areas of the company," Brown said. "I have known Dave and he has been familiar with Stater Bros. for over eighteen years. His extensive background in accounting and his leadership abilities will be very valuable to the continued growth of the company."
Kraft Foods, SodaStream add Kool-Aid to co-branded portfolio
NORTHFIELD, Ill., and AIRPORT CITY, Israel — Kraft Foods and SodaStream have expanded their strategic partnership.
The companies said that their co-branded portfolio now will include Kraft Foods’ Kool-Aid brand and initially will include cherry, grape and tropical punch flavors. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"The Kool-Aid brand will be a great addition to the current lineup we’ve developed with SodaStream," Kraft Foods VP beverages Doug Weekes said. "We’re pleased with the early success of Crystal Light and Country Time and believe that adding Kool-Aid will attract even more people to enjoy our flavors with personally-made carbonation."
Working for that photo finish
Photo finishing should grow through 2015, even as consumers embrace mobile devices and other means of sharing and viewing their photos, predicted a recent study from InfoTrends. Most of the growth should come from custom gifts, such as photo cards, books and calendars, according to the “InfoTrends U.S Online Photo Services Forecast: 2010-2015” report. Look for emerging new product categories, such as posters and photo panels, to provide growth in the segment.
