Smart for Life Cookie Diet available at Discount Drug Mart stores in Ohio
BOCA RATON, Fla. After launching its weight-loss products in 10 Discount Drug Mart locations, the Smart for Life Cookie Diet has made throughout the Ohio market, the Smart for Life said Wednesday.
Smart for Life Cookie Diet’s sister company, Better Health Beverage’s underWAY appetite-suppressing beverage, will also be available in February 2010.
Discount Drug Mart, an Ohio-based drug store chain, opened its first store in 1969. Currently operating 69 stores, the company expects to announce further expansion in 2010.

New York Style launches Risotto Chips
WESTCHESTER, Ill. Snack brand New York Style has created a rice snack inspired by risotto, a unique, slow-cooked Italian rice dish. New York Style’s Risotto Chips are made with Arborio rice, the star ingredient of risotto, and are all-natural and gluten-free.

Risotto Chips offer snackers a thin, crispy, dippable chip that is a healthier-for-you snacking option. Each serving offers 11 g of whole grains. The chips come in three flavors: spicy marinara, Parmesan and roasted garlic, and sea salt.
Risotto Chips are available in 5-oz. bags.
Drank extends its reach to Tennessee
HOUSTON Drank isn’t slowing its roll as the relaxation beverage infiltrates Tennessee.
Innovative Beverage Group announced Tuesday that the company has entered into an agreement with Volunteer Distributing Co., a distributor for such major beer brands as Budweiser, Yuengling, Fat Tire and Magic Hat, to expand the reach of the company’s signature relaxation beverage, Drank, to five counties in the western Tennessee region.
The agreement marks yet another relationship with a major beverage supplier announced by Innovative Beverage in the past few weeks.
“Drank is such a unique product that’s currently not being sold in our area, so we think this is the perfect opportunity for us to expand our nonalcohol section by introducing this hot new product to our consumers,” said Randy Gregory, general manager of Volunteer Distributing. “This ‘extreme relaxation beverage’ has caused a real buzz amongst distributors and thirsty consumers alike. By stocking this industry-leading product, we hope that we can help our customers relax by putting Drank into the hands of consumers throughout the western Tennessee region.”
