Samuel Adams introduces variety pack of contest-winning beers

BOSTON — Beers that were highlighted in Samuel Adams’ annual homebrew contest last year now are available in a six-pack.

The company said that the 2011 Samuel Adams LongShot American Homebrew Contest – Category 23 Variety six-pack has hit store shelves. The variety pack includes two bottles each of Richard Roper’s Friar Hop Ale, Rodney Kibzey’s Blackened Hops and Caitlin DeClercq’s Honey B’s Lavender Wheat, which all were named winners in Samuel Adams LongShot American Homebrew Contest in 2010.

The 2011 Samuel Adams LongShot American Homebrew Contest – Category 23 Variety six-pack is available nationwide in select retail stores beginning in late March for a suggested retail price of $9.99.

PLYMOUTH, Wis. — Sargento has introduced a new line of natural cheeses that combine two delicious flavors into one unique taste.

Sargento Natural Blends introduces three new flavor combinations, including cheddar-mozzarella, provolone-mozzarella and colby-pepper-jack. The cheddar-mozzarella and provolone-mozzarella cheese blends are available as cheese stick snacks and deli style slices, while colby-pepper-jack is available in the deli style slices variety.

Rockin’ Green helps moms clean up through campaign

SAN ANTONIO — A clean-rinsing laundry detergent is launching a 52-week campaign in which opt-in fans and customers will receive a free, eco-friendly cleaning tip each week.

Rockin’ Green said its 52 Weeks of Clean campaign will challenge moms everywhere to think creatively and green when it comes to household cleaning. Subscribers can receive the tips via SMS text message or email, which will be clumped into such categories as laundry tips, household cleaning tips, tip to managing stains and dish cleaning tips. Many of the tips will feature Rockin’ Green as the cleaning agent, the company added.
