Clio intros palmperfect pro series bikini trimming system

BY David Salazar
BOSTON — With spring approaching, women’s grooming appliance brand Clio on Friday announced the launch of its latest product, the palmperfect pro series bikini trimming system.

The company said the trimmer was designed to provide a smooth shave or trim that minimizes cuts, nicks and razor burn.

The trimmer includes three head attachments — a hypoallergenic foil shaver, an exfoliator and the trimming head with Clio’s new ceramic technology blades, which it says can stay sharp for 10 times longer than steel blades.

The palmperfect bikini trimming system is battery-operated and comes with a travel bag and trimming guide. The product has launched at select Target and Walmart stores nationwide.

Vermont’s Original adds to its Bag Balm line

BY David Salazar
LYNDONVILLE, Vt. — Vermont’s Original, maker of skin moisturizer Bag Balm, has launched the newest product in its line, Bag Balm Mega Moisturizing Soap.

The Mega Moisturizing Soap is a bar soap enriched with such original balm ingredients as lanolin, and scented with rosemary mint, and it has a suggested retail price of  $4.99.

“We’re truly excited to continue expanding the Bag Balm brand. Moisturizing soap is a natural progression from the original balm,” Vermont’s Original CEO Jim Kelly said. “We wanted to bring something new to the market for dry skin sufferers who trust Bag Balm’s effectiveness and are looking for additional ways to get that benefit as part of their skin conditioning routine, so this is a great way for us to address those needs.”

Bag Balm Mega Moisturizing Soap is currently available in many Rite Aid stores and chain-wide at Kinney Drugs. The company is represented by The Emerson Group and is working actively to expand its distribution nationally.
