Pillsbury’s Funfetti line gets colorful

ORRVILLE, OH — Pillsbury, a brand from J.M. Smucker Co., is adding some bold touches to its line of Funfetti Cupcake and Cake mixes with the introduction of four new varieties. The brand’s Funfetti Frostings also will get two new additions. The eye-catching baking mixes and frostings can be mixed and matched to create eye-catching treats for friends and family, the company said.

The four new cupcake and cake mixes include:

  • Funfetti Aqua Blude Cupcake and Cake Mix;
  • Funfetti Orange All Star Cupcake and Cake Mix;
  • Funfetti Neon Yellow Cupcake and Cake Mix; and
  • Funfetti Vibrant Green Cupcake and Cake Mix.

Pillsbury Funfetti Frostings with Candy Bits will be available in Funfetti Orange All Star Vanilla Flavored Frosting, which includes star-shaped candy bits; and Funfetti Neon Yellow Vanilla Flavored Frosting with multi-colored candy bits. 

Pillsbury Cake and Cupcake Mixes and Pillsbury Frostings are available at grocery stores nationwide at a suggested price of $1.00 to $1.99.

Duane Reade to blast allergy coupons on high-index days through Poncho app

NEW YORK — Walgreens’ Duane Reade stores will be promoting its allergy remedies on days with high allergy indexes through Poncho, a text- and email-based weather app, according to a story published by Mashable on Tuesday. 

The offering will be Poncho’s first step into monetizing its service, according to the report. 

The promotion, which was negotiated by OMD Ignition Factory according to the report, will run through June 7.

Suave Professionals announces Glam4Good partnership

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. — Unilever’s Suave Professionals is partnering with Glam4Good to provide makeovers for women and bring a touch of glam to women everywhere.

All women can receive samples to try for themselves and have the opportunity to gift them to others at Suave.com.

Glam4Good is a fashion movement, community and organization that ignites positive social change through style. Style and beauty expert Mary Alice Stephenson spearheads the movement. Glam4Good can be found on The Huffington Post.

Maria Menounos, host of “Extra,” star of “Chasing Maria Menounos” and author, joins the mission. Together, Suave, Glam4Good and Menounos are infusing goodness across the country, granting hair makeovers to women and, with a simple click, to everyone with a free sample of new Natural Infusion products.

Menounos kicked off the goodness in New York, where Suave Professionals stylists offered free hair makeovers and samples of the new Suave Professionals Natural Infusion products to women at Broadway Plaza in Times Square. The range offers three hair care collections that are free of parabens or dyes:

  • The new Suave Professionals Natural Infusion Anti-Breakage and Strengthening products with Awapuhi Ginger;
  • The new Suave Professionals Natural Infusion Moisturizing products with Macadamia Oil; and
  • The new Suave Professionals Natural Infusion All Day Body products with Seaweed.

Suave.com is the digital destination for information about the new Natural Infusion collection. Visitors can watch exclusive footage of the hair transformations granted by Glam4Good, and register to get — and give — a free Natural Infusion sample. Consumers can also enter for a chance to win full-size products by snapping a selfie of their own glam moment and posting it on Twitter or Instagram using #TouchofGlam.
