Oscar Mayer launches Premium Beef Franks
MADISON, Wis. Oscar Mayer has enlisted Broadway actor Mario Lopez to promote its new Premium Beef Franks. Lopez appeared Tuesday with Oscar Mayer’s Wienermobile in New York’s Times Square to offer samples of the new hot dogs.
Oscar Mayer makes the hot dogs with high-quality cuts of beef, as well as spices. They have no artificial flavors, colors, fillers or byproducts.
In honor of the brand’s 125th anniversary, it is giving $100,000 to America’s Second Harvest. Following the presentation in New York, the Wienermobile will travel across the country to introduce the new hot dogs and collect donations for America’s Second Harvest chapters in the communities it visits.

Decas releases ‘super-charged’ fruit snacks for summer
CARVER, Mass. Decas has released its Fruitaceuticals line of premium, all-natural, fruit snacks for children, “super-charged” with antioxidants.
“Parents who are looking for ways to help their kids develop healthy eating habits can get a big boost with Fruitaceuticals,” director of sales and marketing of Decas Botanical Synergies [maker of Fruitaceuticals], Dan Souza, said. “They help kids start to eat more fruits on a regular basis, and improve their daily nutritional intake as well.”
Fruitaceuticals are dried Cape Cod cranberries enriched with antioxidant-rich pomegranates or omega oils. They come in two varieties: PomaCrans, cranberries with pomegranate juice; and OmegaCrans, cranberries enhanced with cranberry seed oil and a uniquely balanced blend of omegas 3,6 and 9.
Fruitaceuticals can be eaten out of the bag, mixed into cereal or yogurt, or used as a topping on salads or ingredient in trail mixes.
Skinny Water supports athletes at Triple Crown of Cycling
BALA CYNWYD, Pa. Skinny Water, marketed and distributed by Skinny Nutritional Corp., was the official “enhanced water” of the Commerce Bank Triple Crown of Cycling held in Philadelphia on Sunday, June 8.
The professional cycling tour featured more than 200 bicyclists from around the world. Twenty-five cycle teams did 10 laps of a 14.4-mile circuit through Philadelphia that included 10 climbs up a 17 percent grade wall. They rode a total of 156 miles.
Skinny Water had a presence setting up banners, coolers and signs positioned along the race route. Also throughout the city, Skinny hosted Skinny Water hydration stations for both athletes and spectators.
