Oral-B introduces its lightest rechargeable sonic toothbrush
CINCINNATI Procter & Gamble’s Oral-B has announced the launch of the new Pulsonic, the brand’s slimmest and lightest rechargeable sonic toothbrush.
Pulsonic offers a specifically designed Pulsonic brush head that contours to the teeth for an effective clean. With more than 27,000 sonic vibrations per minute, Pulsonic’s bristles clean and whiten teeth in two weeks by reducing surface stains by up to 94 percent, according to the company.
Like other Oral-B rechargeable toothbrushes, it features a two-minute timer that indicates when the recommended two-minute brushing time has been reached. An additional timer signals at 30-second intervals to encourage thorough brushing of the four quadrants of the mouth.
“We know that many consumers who prefer sonic toothbrushes are looking for slimmer, lighter, quieter options that don’t sacrifice performance,” stated Dr. Paul Warren, dentist and vice president of global professional and scientific relations for P&G oral care. “As the newest addition to Oral-B’s best-in-class lineup, Pulsonic is designed to meet this need by providing a quiet, gentle and effective clean with a slim, light handle that is easy to maneuver.”
Oral-B Pulsonic is available starting this month and has a suggested retail price of $69.99.
Olay names Lucero as celebrity spokesperson
CINCINNATI Procter & Gamble’s Olay brand has named Latina celebrity Lucero, as its official celebrity spokesperson.
“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Lucero to Olay, where she will represent the brand with the beauty and grace that she is renowned for in the United States and Mexico,” stated Eric Admiral, brand manager for Olay.
Lucero started her career at age 10 as “Lucerito” in the children’s television series, ““Alegrias del Mediodia.” Since then, she has participated in several soap operas, television shows, theater productions and recorded more than 34 albums.
The ad campaign, which starts this month in the United States and Mexico, will comprise of television, print, radio and online ads. Her voice will also be heard on the soon-to-be released Spanish Web site version of the consultation site, www.Olayforyou.com.
MODE introduces three pearlescent fall colors
ALBANY, N.Y. MODE Cosmetics has unveiled for fall three new all-natural Angel Dust shades.
The all-natural loose mineral mica pearlescents and natural pure pigments are designed to give the long-lasting and multi-faceted color.
The new fall colors are Galactic, a multi-dimensional velvet purple plum; Pixie, a multi-dimensional golden tone green; and Twilight, an iridescent golden sunlight. The suggested retail price is $4 each.
The products are free of fillers, talc, preservatives, fragrance, bismuth oxychloride, oil and wax.
