New Cold-Eeze Daytime/Nighttime QuickMelt tablets enter market
DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — ProPhase Labs has expanded its Cold-Eeze brand.
New Cold-Eeze cold remedy Daytime/Nighttime QuickMelt tablets are designed to shorten a cold, ProPhase Labs said. The Daytime QuickMelt tablets shorten one’s cold and are nondrowsy, while the Nighttime QuickMelt tablets are a combination product formulated to shorten a cold and also help users fall asleep faster and contain natural, extra-strength chamomile and melatonin. Each package comes with 18 Daytime QuickMelt tablets and six Nighttime QuickMelt tablets.

Gain taps Wanda Sykes as scent matchmaker, launches interactive YouTube program
CINCINNATI — Laundry detergent brand Gain has tapped an actress and comedian for an interactive YouTube experience that helps people celebrate what makes them unique and find their perfect scent match.
As the Gain scent matchmaker, Wanda Sykes will lead participants through a unique, digital experience to find their own scent match based on their personality. Through a list of characteristics, such as taste in shoes and music or assessment of an inkblot, Wanda and Gain will match people up with the Gain scent that is as unique as them via an interactive YouTube video questionnaire. With scents like Apple Mango Tango, Icy Fresh Fizz and Butterfly Kiss, people will be sure to find the one that is perfect for them. In addition, Gain has also created a Spanish-language version of the YouTube videos featuring "Dr. Aroma," which takes people through a series of questions in Spanish in order to help pinpoint their perfect scent match from Gain’s lineup of scents. Consumers will be able to toggle between the English and Spanish language version via a language selector button featured on the Gain YouTube Page.

Schiff appoints new SVP, chief commercial officer
SALT LAKE CITY — Schiff Nutrition has appointed a new SVP and chief commercial officer.
Richard Baruch Jr. most recently served as VP category advisory services at Coca-Cola, where he led an initiative to build a new organization and bring a new set of capabilities to Coca-Cola’s North American business.
"Rich brings an extensive background in sales, marketing and general management, and we welcome him to the team," Schiff president and CEO Tarang Amin said.
