Nestle Waters kicks off sweepstakes for regional water brands
STAMFORD, Conn. — Nestle Waters is launching a new sweepstakes for each of its six regional spring water brands.
By visiting the website for one of the spring water brands — Arrowhead, Deer Park, Ice Mountain, Ozarka, Poland Spring and Zephyrhills — between May 13 and Nov. 30, consumers can enter the new Better Things in Life sweepstakes for the chance to win a grand-prize trip for four to their choice of 1-of-394 U.S. national parks, along with hundreds of other prizes, including tickets to theme parks and local sporting events.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Limit one entry per person per day during the sweepstakes.
Kellogg’s U.S. cookie, cracker bakeries earn Energy Star certification
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Kellogg’s announced that seven of its U.S. cookie and cracker bakeries have earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star certification.
The seven Kellogg’s facilities represent more than half of the 13 EPA-recognized U.S. cookie and cracker bakeries from multiple companies.
The certification builds on Kellogg’s commitment to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions by 15% to 20% by 2015.
Chips Ahoy! takes the fudge route
EAST HANOVER, N.J. — Chips Ahoy! is getting a chocolate makeover.
The brand has introduced its fudge-filled chocolate chip cookies called Chewy Gooey that will be available in two varieties. The Chewy Gooey Chocofudge variety features a soft chocolate chip cookie made with real chocolate chips filled with a layer of smooth and creamy fudge, while the Chewy Gooey Megafudge variety is a soft, brownie-like chocolate chip cookie with real white chocolate chips and filled with a layer of smooth and creamy fudge.
Chips Ahoy! Chewy Gooey cookies are available in stores nationwide this month.
