Maker of Drank aligns with NPG PR
HOUSTON — The maker of relaxation beverage Drank has tapped NPG PR to handle public relations for the product.
With this new agreement, Innovative Beverage Group Holdings said NPG PR, a full-service public relations boutique based in Nashville, will handle all media relations, social media, event planning and branding for Drank.
"By aligning ourselves with NPG PR, we know the brand will be positioned perfectly within the ever-evolving media landscape, current pop culture trends and social media practices," said Peter Bianchi, Innovative Beverage Group CEO and creator of Drank. "NPG PR’s expertise and vast experience, coupled with their innovative outreach and hands-on approach to develop, strategize and communicate key messages, is exactly what we need to take this product to the next level."
Mars breaks ground on new Topeka, Kan., facility
TOPEKA, Kan. — Mars Chocolate launched the first phase of its construction of a 350,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility located here on Tuesday.
As previously reported by Drug Store News, the facility is the first site Mars has built in 35 years to help it meet the growing demand for its candy products. The state-of-the-art facility, which is expected to be completed in 2013, will be built to meet leading-edge environmental standards, the company said. Additionally, Mars said it will seek a "gold" certification from the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
"This new site represents Mars’ commitment to manufacturing in the United States for the U.S. market," said Todd Lachman, president of Mars Chocolate North America and Latina America. "We are proud to create jobs in America’s heartland and are honored to partner with the Topeka community for years to come."
Aunt Jemima brings oatmeal pancakes to breakfast table
MOUNTAIN LAKES, N.J. — Pinnacle Foods has added a new frozen breakfast option to the Aunt Jemima brand.
New Aunt Jemima oatmeal pancakes are made with rolled oats, oat bran and oat flour mixed right into the batter and tout 4g of fiber per serving, Pinnacle Foods said.
The Aunt Jemima frozen breakfast line includes such products as frozen waffles, French toast and more.
