Lindt introduces Lindor vanilla truffles

STRATHAM, N.H. — Lindt has expanded its Lindor truffles line.

New Lindor vanilla truffles offer Lindt fans the ultimate chocolate experience, the company said. Each truffle features a smooth melting, vanilla white chocolate center and a decadent white chocolate shell infused with real vanilla. The launch is in line with National Truffles Day, which is celebrated May 2.

"White chocolate, which continues to grow in popularity, and vanilla, a consistent favorite flavor among Americans, are truly the perfect complements to each other," Lindt master chocolatier Ann Czaja said. "We’re thrilled to provide consumers with the opportunity to enjoy a new variety of the classic Lindor truffle, especially in time for National Truffles Day."

Lindt Lindor vanilla truffles are available in 5.1-oz. bags at retail locations nationwide.

Arbor Mist launches frozen wine cocktails

SAN FRANCISCO — Arbor Mist has expanded its lineup to include new frozen beverages.

Arbor Mist said the frozen wine cocktails are packaged in single-serve, 10-oz. pouches and will include blackberry merlot, white pear pinot grigio and strawberry white zinfandel flavors.

"Arbor Mist takes great pride in offering our consumers new and innovative products created directly from their insights and preferences," Arbor Mist marketing director Amy Martin said. "We’re thrilled to expand our product collection with this refreshing, novel way to enjoy our wine. We’re eager for both new and tried-and-true Arbor Mist consumers to taste our product in this unique, fun format."

Arbor Mist frozen wine cocktails are available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $1.99.

Nestle Pure Life brings Hydration Movement to Facebook

STAMFORD, Conn. — Nestle Pure Life has launched its 2012 Nestle Pure Life Hydration Movement, an extension of the brand’s pledge program where more than 99,000 families have made a commitment to swap one sugared beverage a day for water for a year.

This year, Nestle Pure Life is bringing the Hydration Movement to Facebook. By joining this year’s Movement on the Nestle Pure Life Facebook page, participating consumers will pledge to swap one sugared beverage a day with water for a year and also will receive one $1 off coupon toward the purchase of Nestle Pure Life purified water. Participants also will have the opportunity to enter a sweepstakes to win a supply of free Nestle Pure Life bottled water for a year, the company said.

"Nestle Pure Life is committed to helping families live a healthier life," Nestle Pure Life brand manager Maude Ancone said. "The incredible success of the last two years’ Hydration Movement programs demonstrates that families are willing to make simple changes toward a healthier lifestyle, and this year we hope to inspire thousands more and make it even easier for families to take the pledge."
