La Roche-Posay develops new Anthelios 50 Tinted Mineral

NEW YORK — La Roche-Posay has announced that, for the first time, it has combined a UVA/UVB 100% mineral sun filter with tint technology to provide protection for skin while meeting the desires of consumers who seek a sun-kissed glow.

La Roche-Posay has announced the availability of Anthelios 50 Tinted Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid. This new “shaka shaka” sunscreen is 100% mineral nonchemical and offers UV protection down to the cellular level 2. The universal tint formulation provides blendable, sheer coverage for most skin tones that enhances skin’s natural glow for a more even and luminous complexion, the beauty company stated.

Anthelios 50 Tinted Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid from La Roche-Posay has a suggested retail price of $32.95 and can be purchased at select physicians’ offices, select CVS/pharmacy, Ulta, Walgreens and Duane Reade locations as of April.

Acosta names former Kroger vet to board

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Acosta Sales and Marketing, a full-service sales and marketing agency in the consumer packaged goods industry, on Wednesday named former Kroger president and COO Don McGeorge to its board of directors.

“Don is one of the most well-respected leaders in the retail space, and it is our privilege to welcome him to our board ,” Acosta executive chairman Gary Chartrand said. “His deep industry experience and leadership provide a unique retail perspective and helps round out our board’s expertise. We are well-positioned to help steer the company and further the success of Acosta’s CPG clients and retail customers.”

A retail veteran with more than 30 years of experience, McGeorge, while at Kroger, was responsible for all of the company’s supermarket divisions, advertising, customer relationship marketing, manufacturing, merchandising and procurement, pharmacy and retail operations until his retirement in 2009.

McGeorge also currently serves on the boards of Turning Point Ministries, Viking Cold Solutions and Symphony IRI.

These four products are part of the Dr. LeWinn by Kinerase portfolio that consists of 10 cleansers, moisturizers and daily treatments.
