Hain Celestial expands personal care product portfolio
MELVILLE, N.Y. — The Hain Celestial Group, a maker of natural and organic products, debuted at Natural Products Expo West a slew of new products, including new personal care items. Natural Products Expo West showcased a record number of new products from the natural, organic and healthy living sector with more than 63,000 participants from around the world.
Among the new introductions with personal care:
- Alba Botanica brand launched a new detoxifying skin care line called Good & Clea, which includes Gentle Acne Wash, Toxin Release Scrub, Daily Detox Foaming Cleanser, Pore Purifying Mini Peel, and Dual Textured Exfoliating Towelettes; and the Hawaiian hair line offered two new deep conditioning minute masks, a leave-in conditioning mist and an anti-frizz serum;
- JASON brand presented Dandruff Relief 2-in-1 treatment shampoo + conditioner is a dual action, medicated formula that cleanses and conditions while controlling scalp dermatitis and mild psoriasis; and
- The Queen Helene Royal Curl brand franchise introduced new Curl Reactivator to revive curls.
TRESemmé develops Keratin Smooth, Platinum Strength hair care collections
NEW YORK — Hair care brand TRESemmé has expanded its portfolio with the new Platinum Strength and Keratin Smooth collections.
The new TRESemmé Platinum Strength Collection is a line of hair care products developed to fortify and strengthen hair, repairing up to two years of damage in five uses, the company stated. The collection includes Platinum Strength Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner, Renewing Deep Conditioning Treatment and Strengthening Heat Protect Spray.
The Keratin Smooth collection is designed to transform hair, providing instantly smooth styles and frizz control that lasts up to 48 hours, the company stated. The collection includes Keratin Smooth Keratin Infusing Shampoo & Conditioner, Keratin Smooth Keratin Infused Heat Protection & Shine Spray and Keratin Smooth Keratin Infusing Serum.
Kimberly-Clark names chief marketing officer
DALLAS — Kimberly-Clark, whose brands include Kotex, has named Clive Sirkin as VP and chief marketing officer, reporting to Tony Palmer, president of global brands and innovation.
Sirkin joined K-C in 2007 and has held a number of marketing leadership positions.
He spent the first part of his career in finance and operational roles. In 1989, Sirkin joined advertising giant Leo Burnett and spent the next 16 years in a variety of increasingly responsible roles, ending his time at the agency as group managing director of Leo Burnett Worldwide.
Prior to joining K-C, Sirkin consulted with consumer packaged goods firms and specialized in helping clients transform marketing processes to commercialize their brands more effectively and efficiently.
