Gillette, GroomGroove.com hold contest for best proposal story

NEW YORK Procter & Gamble’s Gillette Clinical Strength antiperspirant has teamed up with engagement and wedding site for men, GroomGroove.com, to search for the best marriage proposal story.

The “She Said Yes” wedding proposal contest begins on Thursday and continues through April 21. Contest entries will be featured on GroomGroove.com and one winner will receive a year’s supply of new Gillette Clinical Strength antiperspirant and $1,000 in cash.

The new Gillette Clinical promises to provide 34 percent better wetness protection than a prescription product.

GroomGroove.com is an online engagement and wedding guide for men. The site features up to date information for grooms, the best man, groomsmen and the fathers of the bride and groom, including information on wedding tuxedos and diamond engagement rings. Groove Media LLC founded the site in 2007.

Greyson listed on electronic OTC exchange

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. Greyson International Inc. is now trading on the Pink Sheets electronic OTC exchange as a public entity under the symbol “GYSN,” the company announced on Wednesday.

Company president and chief executive officer Harvey Tauman plans to expand upon the company’s product line, enhance product effectiveness and build the brand name through a multi-faceted marketing strategy.

The company plans to market its products through short- and long-form infomercials on television and radio, in magazine ads, catalogs, retail and prestige stores, as well as on the Internet.

“Becoming a publicly traded company will also allow us to continue our due diligence in finding the best available technologies and offering state-of-the-art methods of delivery of advanced ingredients to the skin,” stated Tauman.

Greyson International is a developmental stage company that markets health and beauty aid products including six cosmetic products in the Aspirations by Jennifer Greyson line.

P&G looks to acquire Frederic Fekkai brand

CINCINNATI Procter & Gamble is looking to acquire from private equity firm Catterton Partners high-end hair care brand Frederic Fekkai & Co., according to reports.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The deal would expand P&G’s portfolio and add to its line of upscale beauty products that includes SK-II skin care.

According to reports, Fekkai will have a ongoing role and will continue to drive creative efforts, brand image and product development.
