Dreyer’s, Edy’s add mango variety to fruit bars offering
OAKLAND, Calif. — A new flavor has been introduced to a line of real fruit frozen snacks.
Dreyer’s and Edy’s announced that their fruit bars now include a mango flavor, which will be available nationwide this spring. In addition to the new flavor, a 12-count variety pack of tropical flavors, including coconut, orange and pineapple, also will launch at retail.
Mango fruit bars will carry a suggested retail price of $4.19. The 12-count tropical variety pack will carry a suggested retail price of $4.39.
Kimberly-Clark SVP retires
DALLAS — Kimberly-Clark announced that Jan Spencer, a 34-year company veteran, is retiring.
Spencer, who serves as Kimberly-Clark’s SVP continuous improvement, sourcing and sustainability, will retire July 1. No successor has been named at this time, the company said.
Among his accomplishments during his tenure, Spencer most recently spearheaded Kimberly-Clark’s continuous improvement efforts, which resulted in a number of process enhancements that helped drive improved results in both quality and productivity, the company said. Prior to his current position, Clark also led Kimberly-Clark Professional, taking that business unit to more $3 billion in revenues while at the helm.
"Jan has been a transformational change leader at Kimberly-Clark and his influence will be missed across the globe," Kimberly-Clark chairman and CEO Thomas Falk said. "I want to thank him for his outstanding leadership and contributions to the growth and success of Kimberly-Clark."
Former Jones Soda executive returns as board member
SEATTLE — Jones Soda has appointed one of its former executives to its board.
Jennifer Cue, who served in various roles — including CFO, COO and board member from 1995 to 2005 — has rejoined the company as a member of its board of directors.
"While Jennifer was here as interim CFO we found that she brought meaningful operational and financial context from Jones’ history. Having Jennifer on the board will allow us to continue to tap into her knowledge and experience as a former senior executive at Jones during a time when much was accomplished," Jones Soda CEO William Meissner said.
