FAIRFIELD, Calif. The world is getting more colorful with Jelly Belly crayons.

The 1-oz. Jelly Belly crayons have real crayon tips in colors to match the Jelly Belly beans inside. The crayons come in color/flavor combinations of cotton candy, berry blue, very cherry, sour orange and green apple.

The suggested retail price is $2.49 per crayon. The crayons will be avalable in time for the back-to-school season.

Breyers launches new YoCrunch fruit parfait

BOULDER, Colo. Breyers is expanding its YoCrunch brand with a new delectable offering.

New YoCrunch fruit parfait provides consumers with a layered fruit, yogurt and granola parfait at just 120 calories per serving. It is available in three classic fruit flavors — strawberry, blueberry and peach — at a suggested retail price of $2.89 for each four-pack container.

Unilever states sustainability goals for paper packaging

NEW YORK Unilever is committing to its environmental sustainability by sourcing 75% of its paper and board packaging from sustainably managed forests or from recycled material by 2015, rising to 100% by 2020.

Marc Engel, Unilever’s chief procurement officer, said: “As a leading consumer goods company, we buy considerable quantities of paper and board for packaging to ensure our products are protected and transported safely. As such it is important that we promote sustainable forestry practices and help combat deforestation and climate change through the responsible sourcing of these materials.”

Unilever is a founding member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, which has over 160 members, including packaging users, producers and retailers.
