Dannon introduces Activia Selects
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Dannon has expanded its Activia line of yogurt with new styles and textures.
The Activia Selects line features French, Greek and parfait yogurts that are designed to boost digestive wellness. Activia Selects French yogurt is available in cherry, blackberry and raspberry, mango and pineapple flavors; Activia Selects also has a French style with fruit bites on the bottom that is available in strawberry and mixed berry flavors. Activia Selects Greek yogurt is available in strawberry, vanilla, blueberry and pomegranate and berry flavors. Activia Selects parfait yogurt is available in strawberry, vanilla, peach and mixed berry flavors.
The launch of the new Activia Selects line will be supported by a commercial starring brand spokeswoman Jamie Lee Curtis.
Health Warrior introduces chia energy bars
NEW YORK — Health Warrior has introduced a new line of energy bars made with chia seeds.
New 100-calorie all natural chia energy bars are available in a peanut butter chocolate flavor and are designed to energize, rejuvenate muscles, stabilize blood sugar and aid intestinal regularity, among other benefits, Health Warrior said.

Hungry Jack kicks off Use Up the Box recipe contest
ORRVILLE, Ohio — J.M. Smucker brand Hungry Jack has kicked off a new promotion that encourages consumers to be creative when making meals.
The Use Up the Box contest, which runs through Nov. 2, invites consumers to submit a recipe for one of the following categories for a chance to win a year’s worth of groceries (presented as a $6,000 check): brunch, comfort foods, appetizers and sweet treats. The recipes can be submitted on Useupthebox.com or via regular mail. One recipe in each of the four categories will be named a grand prize winner.
