Coty Inc. CEO named member of Maidenform board

ISELIN, N.J. Coty Inc. CEO Bernd Beetz has been appointed to the board of directors for Maidenform Brands, a marketer of intimate apparel. Beetz also will function as a member of the nominating and governance committee.

“We are delighted to welcome Bernd to our board of directors,” stated Maurice Reznik, CEO of Maidenform. “Bernd had demonstrated strong leadership at Coty Inc., and his broad retail, marketing and international experience will serve our company well.”

Since 2001, Beetz has served as the CEO of Coty. Prior to joining Coty, Beetz served as president and CEO of Parfums Christian Dior France, a subsidiary of LVMH. From 1974 to 1998, he held various management positions throughout Europe at Procter & Gamble.

“A leader in their industry, Maidenform continues to experience great success developing innovative products for women worldwide,” stated Beetz. “I’m thrilled to join the Maidenform board.”
