Product cost (83%), quality (82%) and academic benefits (78%) are the most important factors considered when purchasing back-to-school products, according to an online survey of more than 500 AccentHealth viewers conducted in July. More BTS shoppers focus on health and wellness

Behind school supplies and apparel, health-and-wellness products rank third in terms of most commonly purchased product categories, according to an online survey of more than 500 AccentHealth viewers conducted in July. As many as 20% of respondents indicated they plan to buy more preventive care items for their child this year compared with last year. BTS spending up, but economy is still a drag

While viewers forecast that this year’s overall spending will be up from last year for BTS, economic factors are still top of mind while shopping, according to an online survey of more than 500 AccentHealth viewers conducted in July. More than half of viewers say they will shop for sales more this year compared with last year. The top drivers for BTS shopping venue selection are price (84%) and cost savings (76%).
