CandyRific introduces new novelty items
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — CandyRific has introduced two novelty items for spring. The Cinderella Light and Sound Wand with Candy, an extension of CandyRific’s princess line with Disney Consumer Products, features Cinderella in her classic blue ball gown on top of the wand, which makes a magical sound, lights up and includes .53-oz. of microbytes candy.
A Spiderman Candy Fan also has been introduced, featuring Spidey atop a candy fan, which also includes .28-oz. tube of microbytes candy.
Both products retail for $3.99 and are available in 12-count displays.
Jelly Belly expands Camo Beans
FAIRFIELD, Calif. — Jelly Belly has added a second colorful, trendy bag to its line of Camo Beans — Pink Camo Beans. For every bag of Camo Beans and Pink Camo Beans sold, Jelly Belly Charities will donate $0.25 to support U.S. veterans and their families. The mix includes Cotton Candy, Coconut, Licorice, Cherry Passion Fruit Smoothie, Bubble Gum and Strawberry Cheesecake.
The new Camo Beans are available in 3.5-oz. hanging Grab & Go bags and will be on shelf in March.
Mars launches three new Bites flavors

A miniature version of the iconic bar brands, these bite-sized cubes are ideal for consumers looking for the full taste experience of their favorite candy bar in a smaller portion. Over the last five years, the bite size segment has grown four times faster than the chocolate category, and it is expected to continue to grow. Suggested retail price is $1.49 for 2.83-oz. bags and $2.99 for a stand-up pouch.
