Bazi International unveils energy shot
DENVER Bazi International, formerly known as XELR8 Holdings, on Tuesday announced the official launch of its Bazi energy shot.
“Unlike other energy shots that overload the body with excessive caffeine, sugar, B vitamins, taurine and other artificial stimulants, Bazi combines nature’s finest ingredients for increased energy and better performance,” stated Kevin Sherman, the company’s president and CEO.
Bazi features a fruit-based formula that support long term health, increased energy and immunity support. The blend of superfruits includes jujube, blueberry, pomegranate, goji, mangosteen, raspberry, acai and seabuckthorn.
Bazi sells single shots at a suggested retail price of $2.99, and in packs of six and 12, at $17.99 and $28.99, respectively.
Greenwood Group, NCL & Associates announce strategic alliance
BUFFALO, N.Y. Greenwood Group and NCL & Associates on Tuesday announced a strategic alliance designed to offer a wide variety of services to companies that are at various stages of their development and to provide a platform for success.
Effective Sept. 1, NCL will focus its consulting work in four core areas — diabetes products, services and information; pre-market and pre-commercialization of healthcare products and related services; private equity/venture capital assistance and research; and consulting for retailers, wholesalers and other trade channels.

NCL will furnish an integral precommercialization consulting role and deliver a variety of skills and experience to each project.”

W. F. Young updates brand image
EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. W. F. Young on Monday introduced new packaging graphics that not only will serve to contemporize the brand but also marks the celebration of the company’s heritage of providing pain-relief products for horses.
Most consumers are not aware that the company’s first introduction into the pain-relief market actually was a product formulated for horses, the company noted. Absorbine Veterinary Liniment was introduced in 1892 by Wilbur F. and Mary Ida Young as a liniment to relieve the muscle pain of horses.
This inspired the introduction of Absorbine Jr. in 1903 to help relieve the muscle aches and pains of people.
The new carton and label graphics reflect W. F. Young’s horse care heritage with a graphic depicting a powerful horse next to a fit, healthy runner. The product with the new packaging started shipping in June and is appearing on store shelves now.
