All-natural nectarine juice maker introduces energizing smoothie
ORLANDO, Fla. Sun Shower company has launched its new Stamina Superfood Smoothie an all-natural juice product that purportedly boosts energy and endurance and provides the nutrition of three servings of fruit.
NBI Juiceworks has said the Stamina Superfood Smoothie is made from 100 percent nectarine juice. The smoothies contain more than 20 vitamins and nutrients as well as amino acids, antioxidants and electrolytes, and they are infused with green tea extract.
Chris New, founder, chairman and chief executive officer of NBI Juiceworks, the company that produces and distributes Sun Shower nectarine juices, said, “To help keep you performing at your best, your body and mind need powerful vitamins and nutrients. That’s why we created Stamina Superfood Smoothie.”
The NBI Juiceworks (New Beverage Insights Juiceworks) company was founded in Orlando in 2005.
Purple names former Red Bull exec as its vice president of East Coast sales
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. Purple Beverage Co. today announced that Dan Morelli will move into a seat as vice president of East Coast sales and distribution. Morelli comes to the Purple team after leading sales at Red Bull for nearly a decade.
“We could not be happier to add an industry veteran with so much experience under his belt to our team,” Purple Beverage founder and chief executive officer, Ted Farnsworth, said. “Not only did [Morelli] help launch Red Bull here in the U.S., but his extensive experience will surely give Purple an industry edge.”
Farnsworth predicted Morelli would be key in expanding East Coast distribution.
Purple is an antioxidant-rich fruit beverage sold in convenience, drug and health food stores, as well as supermarkets and other retail venues.
Pepperidge Farm expands lines to include two new cookie flavors
NORWALK, Conn. Cookie and snack maker Pepperidge Farm has announced it will add two new chocolate flavored cookies to its Chunk and Soft Baked cookie lines.
The newly conjured cookie flavors are named Crispy White and Milk Chocolate Chunk. Both cookie styles come in crispy baked and chewy varieties, featuring either white or milk chocolate pieces.
Pepperidge Farm said the cookie flavors are supposed to remind consumers of fresh home-style baking and can be eaten straight from the bag, or warmed up.
Pepperidge Farm’s adult snacks business director, Brian Immel, described the cookies. “The combination of white and milk chocolate in a chocolate cookie is an unexpected twist on a traditional favorite,” he said. “And with both a crispy and soft baked option, we’re appealing to more consumers that are seeking a truly indulgent experience.”
The new flavors are available at grocery stores, mass retailers and supermarkets across the U.S. They retail at $3.19 per package.
