Stiefel introduces Revaleskin-branded anti-aging treatment
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Stiefel, a GlaxoSmithKline company, has expanded its Revaleskin family of products with its new Revaleskin Illuminesse Brightening Complex.
Made with CoffeeBerry whole fruit extract, the anti-aging treatment is designed to provide antioxidants to neutralize against free radical damage caused by UV exposure, which can result in uneven skin tone, mild age spots and the loss of brightness and youthful luminosity of the skin. For maximum sun protection, the formula should be used in addition to sunscreen, not as a substitute.
Revaleskin Illuminesse Brightening Complex is a hydroquinone-free, kojic acid-free topical serum containing methyl dihydroxybenzoate, related to the botanical gentian root and helps balance uneven skin tones. The formula is 98.5% natural and is gentle enough for sensitive skin and skin of color.
"The science behind Revaleskin is born from our 160 years of experience in dermatology," stated Annamaria Ranieri, director of U.S. sales and marketing for Revaleskin products. "At Stiefel, we work with leading global dermatologists to assist in the development of our products. We look forward to arming consumers with a new product that offers the dual benefit of helping to repair existing damage and protecting against future damage caused by UV exposure."
Braun Satin Hair brush makes U.S. debut
CINCINNATI — Following a European launch in 2009, Braun, a member of the P&G beauty and grooming family of brands, has announced the availability of the Braun Satin Hair brush in the United States.
Braun Satin Hair brush makes its exclusive debut in the United States on QVC on July 12. The brush has a suggested retail price of $65.
The battery-operated Braun Satin Hair brush combines Braun’s Active Ion Technology, which promises to give hair smoothness and shine, with its Seamless Bristle Technology.
Braun’s Active Ion Technology was designed to instantly deliver visibly more shine and smoothness to hair with every brush stroke. The brush’s uniquely designed jet delivers a stream of Active Ions to the hair to restore shine, and tame frizz and flyaways. Seamless Bristle Technology is designed for anti-damage brushing, featuring a smooth surface to glide gently through hair to prevent breakage and damage to the scalp.
The Braun Satin Hair brush U.S. launch will be supported by a marketing plan that leverages Braun’s "Free Your Head" movement.
