Vitamin Shoppe named Walgreens Boots Alliance's former chief information officer to its board of directors, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday. "Tim Theriault, who stepped down from Walgreens Boots in June 2015 after six years as the pharmacy retailer's technology chief, joined Vitamin Shoppe's board March 8 and is a member of the audit committee," The Journal reported. Theriault's appointment "is the result of our ongoing efforts to ensure that our board has the right mix of skills and experience necessary to advance our long-term goals," non-executive board chariman Richard Markee said in a statement.
