Wakefern’s ability to cater to the specific needs of its consumers and to create a one-stop shopping destination has not only resulted in a 4% boost in revenue, but also has placed the grocer in the top spot on this year’s NJBIZ Top 100 Privately Held Companies list, NJBIZ has reported.
Doylestown Hospital has teamed up with a ShopRite located here to pilot a new community outreach program called “Health Connections by Doylestown Hospital.” Health Connections will be a retail-based health resource center located within the ShopRite of Warminster in the Warminster Town Center shopping center.
Bellin Health Care Systems, which established the FastCare brand of retail health clinics in 2006, is celebrating on Dec. 14 the opening of the new Einstein FastCare clinic in the ShopRite of Cheltenham, owned by Brown’s Super Stores.
ShopRite is striving to help its shoppers shop right by focusing on health and wellness and added convenience. To help customers live healthier lives, the grocer has, at select locations, an on-site registered dietitian.
Wakefern implemented the retail dietitian program in 2006, and today there are 20 retail dietitians working in 23 ShopRite locations.
