"OTCs are demonstrating their value everyday because consumers are purchasing them with their own dollars," Melville said. "The challenge has been for policy-makers to understand the value that OTC medicines bring." But that may change this year, Melville said, as CHPA continues to lobby around that OTC value quotient.
