SUNBURY, Pa. — Weis Markets on Monday announced it has expanded its Weis Online Shopping service to eight New Jersey and Pennsylvania locations, bringing the convenience of online grocery orders with store pick-up to the Delaware Valley.
It's a prime example of how more retailers are looking to compete in the omnichannel arena, where shoppers are treated to a where-they-want, what-they-want, when-they-want buying experience.
"Not enough time to do your grocery shopping? Nobody to watch the kids? Try our online grocery ordering," Weis advises on its "Weis E. Market Street" site.
Orders are available for curbside pick-up. "At this time, we do not ship groceries," the supermarket operator stated.
