CENTRALIA, Ill. — A redone Schnucks store will feature an expanded selection of gluten-free foods, the St. Louis-based supermarket chain said.
Schnuck Markets said it was in the process of remodeling its store in Centralia, Ill., which would make room for expanded services. Among these are a larger number of gluten-free foods in grocery and frozen-food areas. The section featuring the products will go from four feet to 16 feet.
"One of the most frequent customer requests is for more gluten-free products," store manager Larry Hoelscher said. "We've listened to our customers, and now we are proud to offer one of the largest selections of gluten-free items in the area."
