MONTVALE, N.J. A&P has launched two new services that allow customers to manage their prescriptions, and also can notify them when the prescriptions are ready to be picked up.
The grocer's pharmacies are using the tools to offer automatic refills and e-mail or text message reminders to all A&P, Pathmark, Waldbaum’s, SuperFresh and Food Basics pharmacy customers at no charge. Customers can sign-up by calling or visiting their pharmacist.
Robin Page, A&P pharmacy director said, “We’re committed to providing our customers with superior services that offer simple ways to stay healthy while managing their daily routines. These new services fit seamlessly into their day and remove the worry of checklists and self-reminders, as well as the health risks of running out of much needed medications. It also saves unnecessary trips to the pharmacy to order medication and check-in on the status of prescriptions.”
