NEW YORK Makeover Solutions, a marketing company focused on the use of technology to serve women interested in personalized beauty care and tips, has hired Jeannette McClennan as chief executive officer and president.
During the past three years, McClennan has served as president of the Media division for Local Matters. Prior to overseeing the local search company, she was president of OgilvyInteractive for North America. As a founding team member of MapQuest, she helped lay the marketing foundation for the company as vice president of sales and marketing.
According to the company, McClennan is already making her mark on the company with the recent securing of an additional $7 million in financing and signing an ad sales partnership with iVillage.
In addition, Scott Slatin will serve as vice president of marketing. Slatin formerly served as media director for Waterfront Media. With experience leading sales teams at National Geographic and Motley Fool, Ted Ryan will oversee the growth of the business partnerships as executive vice president of business development.
