POWERS LAKE, Wis. Pharmacy automation technology company TCGRx announced Tuesday the release of a computerized system for hanging and retrieving will-call prescriptions.
TCGRx announced Will-Call Rx, which uses energy-efficient LED lights and barcode scanning to locate and verify prescriptions. The system can also sort prescriptions by patient or consolidate them by household and can trade medications while alerting pharmacists about prescriptions not picked up by customers.
“Will-Call Rx provides accurate prescription delivery every time,” CEO Duane Chudy said. “This system is designed to eliminate the frustration of searching through alphabetically stored bags while increasing customer satisfaction.”
