CVS Health plans to establish a support operation in the southeastern U.S. employing more than 100 pharmacists and 350 pharmacy technicians, the Orlando Sentinel reported Monday. As CVS Health continues to develop and expand its Registered Apprenticeship program, the company will explore how it can offer apprenticeship opportunities in additional fields, including logistics and digital as well.
Newsday on Friday reported a federal bankruptcy judge approved the sale of 74 pharmacies and assets to CVS Health and Rite Aid in a deal valued collectively at more than $31.4 million. "CVS will purchase the prescription records from 58 stores [and] Rite Aid will purchase the prescription records of 16 stores," the paper reported. (Newsday)
