Specialty pharmaceutical company Meda is being acquired by Mylan, expanding Mylan's reach into emerging markets, building on its recent specialty and branded generics acquisitions and creating an OTC division worth about $1 billion.
The Treato/MediaMiser survey determined that the doctor's office is still the location of choice to get the flu shot - 49% who got the flu shot went to see their doctor, followed by 19% at the pharmacy, 15% at place of employment and 11% at a health clinic.
