GlaxoSmithKline is celebrating 300 years. Originating as a small pharmacy in East London in 1715, GlaxoSmithKline has grown into the sixth largest global pharmaceutical company, the International Business Times reported Monday. "I'm extremely proud of all the history we have behind us," noted Nikki Yakes, GSK UK Pharma general manager. America Fall Allergy Capitals report ranks the 100 most challenging places to live in the United States with fall allergies based on regional pollen data, medication use and the number of allergy specialists in the largest 100 U.S. metropolitan areas.
According to the latest Kline blog, the United States is not as aggressive in switching medicines from prescription-only to OTC as their counterparts overseas. "The United Kingdom is not the only country to be more proactive about switch than the United States," the blog states.
