With flu season winding down, Walgreens on Friday released its final Flu Index of the 2016-17 season, noting which markets saw the most activity based on aggregate prescription data between October 2016 and April.
Walmart’s share of the $800 billion grocery market has grown to 21.5%, according to a report from CNBC that highlights Loop Capital analyst Andrew Wolf’s assessment of the retailer’s recent first-quarter results. Wolf notes that in Q1, Walmart outperformed U.S. supermarkets by 2.9%, which is up from the 1.6% outperformance it showed in Q4 2016. (CNBC)
