Winn-Dixie begins initiative to supply CPG companies with more data

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Winn-Dixie Stores wants to partner with manufacturers to improve store operations and expand its marketing efforts, the company announced Thursday.

The company will work with IBM, Priva Technologies and TrueDemand Software to improve information sharing with manufacturers. It hopes to improve the availability of products and fit products to the communities it serves.

Winn-Dixie operates 520 stores, 400 of which have in-store pharmacies, in Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia and Mississippi.
