NEW YORK Beauty company Revlon announced on Wednesday that it has decided to join the Twitter universe.
As the countdown begins to New York's Fashion Week, Revlon is launching its Twitter page at Twitter.com/Revlon. Revlon is giving the first 500 followers a new shade of super lustrous lipstick, created by global artistic director Gucci Westman for her new collection Suede Rhapsody, hitting stores in October.
Revlon's Twitter page will offer an exclusive peek inside its beauty world including the buzz backstage from New York, London and Paris Fashion Weeks, insider looks at their newest products, updated trend information and a few celebrity 'guest' tweeters.
To help kick things off, Revlon's Westman will be guest tweeting during New York Fashion Week. Followers will be able to check in regularly to hear about the inspiration behind each beauty look, the products used and who pops in backstage pre- and post-show.
