Carma Labs, the maker of Carmex lip balm products, is expanding beyond lip balm for the first time with the launch of its new skin care product line: Carmex Healing lotion and Carmex Healing cream. Carmex skin care products were available exclusively at all Walgreens locations in the United States and on beginning in August, and will be available through beginning in September. The suggested retail price is $5.99 each.

Fusion Brands announced the launch of Veripur, a new alcohol- and triclosan-free hand sanitizer that provides up to four hours of continuous protection after application, immediately kills 99.9% of germs and moisturizes hands. The formula uses SafetyDerm, a patented long-lasting technology to keep skin healthy while preventing germs from colonizing on the skin, and benzethonium chloride, which is suspended in a white wax to create an invisible barrier on the skin that hydrates and protects for up to four hours, according to the company.

GlaxoSmithKline has developed a new line of zinc-free Super Poligrip products. The new formulation of Super Poligrip is designed to provide an all-day hold to block out food particles and give denture wearers the comfort they need. According to GSK, Super Poligrip also is clinically proven to improve stability, retention and bite force.

Ethnic personal care brand Dr. Miracle’s has expanded its line of hair care products with the new Follicle Healer Collection. According to the company, it created the collection at the request of its consumers, who wanted new products with a milder, more pleasant fragrance and even more nourishing ingredients. The collection includes Follicle Healer pomade, crème, hydrating oil and deep conditioning treatment. In addition, the brand launched exclusively at Walmart its new My Miracle Face Care line to meet the skin care needs of African-American women.
