Pharmavite’s new omega-3 is no fish story

Nature Made Krill Oil packs the EPAs and DHAs without the ‘fish burps’

BOSTON — Pharmavite is talking up its Nature Made 300-mg Krill Oil supplement, which delivers a combination of omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants from naturally occurring Astaxanthin — a carotenoid that is found in microalgae, yeast, salmon, trout, krill, shrimp, crayfish and crustaceans. Astaxanthin provides the red color of salmon meat and cooked shellfish.

Supportive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.

Each Nature Made Krill Oil supplement contains 90 mg omega-3 (50 mg EPA, 24 mg DHA) and 75 mg phospholipids, and has no fishy aftertaste.

Nature Made Krill Oil comes in small softgel capsules that are easy to swallow with out the unpleasant “fish burps” commonly associated with other omega-3 supplements.
