New Apple application provides users with health information

NEW YORK A husband-and-wife, doctor-and-nutritionist team have developed a free application for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch that provides users with a convenient source of health information.

“Natural Cures,” developed by doctor and researcher Jacob Teitelbaum and his wife, nutritionist Laurie Teitelbaum, presents more than 100 health conditions in alphabetical order and their treatments, both conventional and integrative, in easily understood language.

It also provides a weekly update on health news and research related to comprehensive medicine, a nutrition primer and instructions on finding local board-certified integrative physicians.
