ST. LOUIS J.D. Power and Associates has given Medicine Shoppe pharmacies the highest ranking for the second year in a row for customer satisfaction, the St. Louis-based pharmacy chain announced Monday.
The 2008 study by the market research firm gave Medicine Shoppe a customer satisfaction score of 873 out of 1,000, 68 points higher than the industry average for chain pharmacies. The average score for chain pharmacies was 805.
“Receiving the highest customer satisfaction score from J.D. Power and Associates for the second year in a row is an honor and a demonstration of the dedication of our pharmacists and franchisees,” Medicine Shoppe International general manager Terry Burnside said. “Medicine Shoppe pharmacists are committed to providing the highest level of personalized service and pride themselves on spending time counseling customers about their medications and overall health concerns, from immunization to diabetes.”
